Conduct procedural and operational review of information security processes and system controls against corporate, government, and internal I/S compliance standards.  Use analytical skills (with excel and Access) and security knowledge to review vulnerability trends. Work with customer areas I/S, Workstation, network services and application areas to identify and address vulnerabilities.

Provide guidance to I/S functional teams with the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of control processes, documentation, and compliance measures.  Evaluate technology and business-related controls for integrating business and information system security and risk mitigation efforts. Develop and implement tools to support automated risk assessment and compliance efforts.

Required:

• CISM or CISSP
• Basic understanding of systems development life cycle methodologies
• Good understanding of risk management, information system security
• IT experience including at least 1 year of IT security, risk assess or compliance experience (5 years)
• Expertise in using MS Excel, MS Access for data analytics (3 years)
• Excellent communication & people skills
• US Citizenship

Desired:

• Ability to write VBA scripts to assess vulnerability/risk data (1 year)
• Insurance industry experience
