HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are looking for a Healthcare Industry Sales Representative who has experience in the healthcare provided group practice or hospital market selling medical billing, medical office system software, internet based medical office systems or services such as EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or patient bill payment collection services.
 
The Healthcare Industry Sales Representative is responsible for the sales, service and administrative activities associated with the internet terminal payment processing system and Web Portal services to prospective and existing accounts. Responsible for negotiating terms and entering into contractual relationships with health care providers.
Job responsibilities:
  • Responsible for development of new business; including qualifying prospects, demonstrating product, presenting proposals to prospective customers, and obtaining signed customer agreements for healthcare services, as well as achieving assigned sales and retention quotas.
  • Responsible for the regular input of prospecting, sales call, presentation, demonstration and other information into Salesforce CRM system so that progress towards achieving sales goals may be reviewed by management. 
  • Provides feedback on advertising, public relations and communication materials based on customer and other market reactions.
This is a work from home position and only local candidates will be considered.

Requirements

Required:

  • 3-7 years of sales experience with at least two years in the healthcare provider group practice or hospital market selling medical billing, medical office system software, internet based medical office systems or services such as eligibility or payment services, electronic medical records or patient bill payment collection services. 
  • Knowledge of sales principles and techniques and customer delivered technology services. 
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, techniques, and the marketplace. 
  • Knowledge of the healthcare market including the decision making hierarchy. 
  • Working knowledge of physician billing practices and the patient revenue cycle. 
  • Working knowledge of word processing software. 
  • Good judgment skills. 
  • Effective oral presentation and customer relationship skills. 
  • Analytical or critical thinking skills. 
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Effective organizational skills. 
  • Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others. 
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.    
  • Ability to use standard office equipment. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word or other word processing software.
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to travel periodically for job duties such as attending trade shows or visiting large prospective customers.

Preferred:

  • Five years of sales experience with at least three years in the healthcare provider gorup practice or hospital market selling medical billing, medical office system software, internet based medical office systems or services such as eligibility or payment services, electronic medical records or patient bill payment collection services.
